Leanne
Support Worker
About me
I am a mature caring woman and a "people" person who enjoys being with family or friends. I like many styles of music and especially love film, particularly arthouse, foreign movies & documentaries that are humorous, uplifting or informative.
I have done many personal growth and development courses over the years including Reiki, massage, and Family Constellations to name a few.
As well as travel within Australia, I have visited the British Isles and Europe, New Zealand, India, Singapore and Bali.
I am fond of doing yoga and meditation when I can and like going to the beach or the bush to walk and relax.
I have a cat and love all animals except reptiles!
I like board games and would like to learn more about art, painting and photography.
I decided to start doing support work as I wanted to work more one-to-one with people and felt I had a lot of experience to bring to the role.
I am able to support people in difficult emotional spaces and yet keep a positive "glass half full" attitude and am well practiced in the art of listening, advocacy and support with a flexible common-sense approach. I value the rights and dignity of each individual I work with.
